Beer and wrestling has a long and storied history, with the two glorious things intertwined heavily throughout the passage of time. From the popularity of wrestlers who were noted beer-drinkers, such as Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Sandman, to drinking establishments playing host to wrestling segments, such as the APA and The Friendly Tap, or more locally, The No Holds Bar down in Melbourne. This July, in the footsteps of shows like Wrestlerock’s Brewery Brawl, Pro Wrestling Australia (PWA) are looking to raise the bar. Pun heavily intended!
On July 10, PWA presents Don Marnell’s Beer Bash, at the Beer Shed Brewery in Leumeah, NSW– just outside Campbelltown. That’s right- an entire PWA event at a brewery! While the card is yet to be announced, current advertising material indicates the presence of PWA Heavyweight Champion Ricky South, PWWA Champion Jessica Troy, and Jack J Bonza. One would assume Don Marnell will also be present. If this short video promoting the event is any indication, this is going to be a lot of fun. Who needs Christmas In July when you can have a Beer Bash instead?
And, on the very miniscule chance that it’s not fun, well… there’s always beer! (I kid, I’m sure it’ll be a great show)
Due to the nature of the venue, there will be somewhat limited availability. Tickets are available now at the following link! https://www.prowrestlingaustralia.com.au/pwa-live-events
