Although Global Force Wrestling ultimately never realised its ambition to become the new “no 2” promotion in the US, they originally had ambitious plans, which also included filming TV in Australia.
During an interview with Snap Mayors Media’s show, ‘The No Holds Bar’, Mohamed Ali Vaez talks about how Global Force Wrestling almost made it to Australia.
“A couple weeks later he (Jeff Jarrett) called me, and I told him “thank you Jeff, but as a matter of fact I’m going to Australia.
And then we had a second conversation, because he recognized an opportunity because he had plans to on trying to create a system he would do seasons of television in different areas. So my remit was basically go survey the land, see what’s going on down there, create a talent database and send it to me so that we know who to use when when we come there.”
